Penge Green Gala
What is the Penge Green Gala?
A joyful display of flowers, plants, produce, artwork, photos, and creative ideas showing how we make Penge greener and more sustainable.
Explore, be inspired, and enjoy a relaxed day. There’ll be cream tea and cakes (including a vegan option) and creative activities for all ages
What will it look like?
The Community Centre will be like a flower tent at a summer show.
It’s not a competition— it’s a celebration of what everyone is doing.
Who can take part?
Everyone is welcome. Individuals, families and community groups are
especially encouraged to share their ideas.
What can I bring?
Anything that reflects green or sustainable living, for example:
• A favourite plant or flower you’ve grown
• Photos showing a project (like building a pond)
• Flowers or vegetables grown by children
• A recycled or community-made banner
• Energy-saving ideas
• Small upcycled items
Please don’t bring anything too valuable, fragile, or expensive.
When can I bring my contribution?

How should I prepare my item?
• Label your item clearly – add details on a postcard (at the Centre)

• Community groups, bring some leaflets to display
